How it works
From First Enquiry to Ongoing Supply
Buying wholesale should not require decoding a process. This is exactly how working with Lowell Resolve runs, in the order it happens, with no step that depends on you committing before you have seen a price.
- Start point
- A product list, a category or a written specification — whichever you have.
- First output
- A written quotation set against the quantities you told us about.
- End state
- A trade account with agreed pricing, ordering and terms for ongoing supply.
The process
Six steps, in the order they happen.
- 01
Tell us what you buy
Send through the products, categories or specification you are buying, along with the quantities and how often you order.
- A product list, a category, or a written specification all work as a starting point.
- If you are not sure of exact volumes yet, an estimate is enough for a first conversation.
- 02
We review the requirement
We check what we can supply from current availability and what needs sourcing, then confirm the formats and case sizes that fit.
- We look at pack formats, case quantities and pallet configurations against your requirement.
- Where a line needs sourcing, we tell you that up front rather than leaving it open.
- 03
You receive a written quotation
We issue commercial pricing in writing, set against the volumes discussed, so it can be compared and worked into your costs.
- Pricing is quoted per line with the quantity it applies to.
- Lead times and any minimum order requirements are stated on the quotation.
- 04
Open a trade account
For ongoing supply we set up a trade account so ordering, pricing and terms are agreed once rather than negotiated each time.
- Accounts are for businesses buying in commercial quantities.
- Agreed terms are recorded on the account and applied to subsequent orders.
- 05
Place the order
Confirm the order against the quotation. We acknowledge it, confirm the quantities and tell you when it will be ready.
- Order acknowledgements confirm lines, quantities and agreed pricing.
- Any change to availability is raised with you before the order is processed.
- 06
Fulfilment and ongoing supply
Goods are prepared and despatched to the agreed arrangement, and repeat orders run against the same account and pricing.
- Delivery and collection arrangements are confirmed with you for each account.
- Repeat and scheduled ordering is set up where supply is regular.
