Product sourcing
Product Sourcing Against Your Specification
Not every requirement is met by a standing range. When you need a specific product, in a specific format, at a commercial quantity, Lowell Resolve works back through supply options to establish what is achievable — and tells you plainly when something is not.
- What we source
- Products across the commercial categories we supply, plus adjacent lines where a trade customer has a clear, repeatable requirement.
- What we need
- A specification and a quantity. The tighter the brief, the more precise the answer.
- What you get back
- Feasibility, format options, commercial cost and lead time — in writing.
How sourcing works
A brief in, a commercial answer back.
- 01
Send the specification
Describe the product as precisely as you can: size, material, pack format, quantity per case, and any compliance or labelling requirement it has to meet.
- 02
We check feasibility
We work back through supply options to establish whether the product can be supplied as specified, or whether something has to change to make it viable.
- 03
We come back with options
You get a direct answer: what can be supplied, in what format, at what commercial cost, on what lead time — and where a compromise would be required.
- 04
You decide, then we supply
If the position works, we confirm it in writing and move it into normal supply. If it does not, you have lost nothing but the enquiry.
What to send us
A good brief gets a better answer.
- A description or specification of the product
- The quantity you expect to buy, and how often
- The pack format or case size you need it in
- Any compliance, labelling or packaging requirements
- The timescale you are working to
- Any cost target you need it to land against
Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive information through the website form. If a requirement needs to be handled that way, tell us and we will arrange it directly.

What you get back
Enough detail to make a buying decision.
A direct answer on feasibility
If a product cannot be sourced sensibly at your volume, we say so rather than leaving the enquiry open.
Format and pack options
Where the same product can be supplied in more than one format, we set out the options and what each does to the cost.
Commercial cost against your volume
Sourced pricing is quoted against the quantity discussed, so it can be compared directly with what you pay now.
Lead time stated up front
Sourced lines usually carry a longer lead time than stocked lines. That is confirmed before you commit, not after.
Sourcing enquiry
Tell us what you need sourced.
Send the specification, the quantity and the timescale. We will confirm whether it can be supplied and on what commercial basis.
